Sheridan College - Second Week!

Hello! The second week of school has come and gone and I feel more conflicted than ever!

Now that the third week is half way done I have a pretty good idea how all my classes will go and also work but now that I know a little bit more I'm not sure I want it. Let me sum up basically the whole point of the program I am taking,

The Art Fundamentals program is to provide you with the tools and skills necessary to create, at the very least, an acceptable portfolio for the program you wish to go into after the year whether it be the Animation Bachelor's program, Illustration, Interior Design, Art History and etc.

Now that I've gone to all my classes and we've started on a few projects I've come to find that my favourite class is my drawing class on Fridays. I think I like it so much is because I'm better at that than any of my other classes and because it is my favourite form of art, fine art, I love it.

I also went to this extra life drawing class that they have during the week with a live model and OMG! Did I ever love it! I was so happy to be there and didn't want to leave! The joy I had drawing 1-5 minute gestures! Geezz...even if they weren't good I knew if I went there often and keep with it, remembering all I have learned they would eventually come out great. In time I'm going to post those on Instagram.

After my drawing class and the extra life and looking at Sheridan's Photography course, I am again struggling with whether I should really go for animation.

I know! I am THE definition of an indicisve women! Oh Lord, I've always been so sure of what I wanted but now I just don't know. 

But when I think about the plans I made during summer before I got here and all the support I've gotten, still getting and have it really makes me wanna stick with animation so I think what I really need to do is continue what I'm doing because it's still early and pray and see where the Lord will lead me.
