2016!

Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas, Happy Boxing Day and Happy New Year to all!

I am so sorry I've been away for a while, a few things have happened. I am now half way through my first semester of Art Fundamentals at school (thank GOD!) Next semester is suppose to be brutal! With homework and portfolios! And I have TWO to put together! One for Computer Animation and one for Photography.

But I'm home now, have been for about 2 weeks now just trying to relax but have been working everyday since I got back but next week is suppose to be pretty chill so I can work on my portfolio, maybe get ahead in up coming projects coming soon in class and hopefully...see Star Wars: The Force Awakens with my friend! I'm so excited!

2015 was a okay year for me, definitely A LOT of some #harkdnocklife moments like moving to a new house, going to school, family dilemmas, losing my first job at Target and more but hey, can't grow and learn if life was all roses and sunshine so I am very grateful for them.

I did have a 2015 list of all the things I wanted to accomplish and I almost got all of them except for going to Walt Disney World and having a dedicated prayer life. I didn't have the money and my family was not up for the trip and I've just been seriously lacking with my walk with God. Even more now that I'm at school and don't have a church to attend, but truthfully I rather be at my church.

I know people don't really take their New Years resolutions seriously and neither do the people who hear them and know them but I do and I plan, God's willing, to get everything done on my list. I have a journal I'm writing it in and not matter how small I want to accomplish it. This year I don't want to be one of those people who say it and don't do it. I need to act now because who really knows about later, or the next second.

What really gave me the push to "act" instead of "say" was when I bought tickets for my Mom and I to see Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella in Toronto as a birthday gift from myself. It was a lot of money, money I didn't have and my mom couldn't help me but I loved Cinderella all my life and especially Rogers and Ham's version so I bought the tickets and went and LOVED IT!(I'm actually going to do a review on that so please stay tuned) Couldn't believe I did it! So I hope that this will be a start.

A few things on my new year resolution are:

- strengthen my walk with God
- really establish myself more as a photographer and find my "theme/element"
- have at least applied/work as a computer animator
- go to either Walt Disney World or Seattle
- go to either Disney Expo/ Fan Expo or some type of Expo

And there's more, there's a lot I want to do and cover and can't wait to get started! I just want to start living! Living right and having fun!

Thank you everyone for their views and comments on my post! I would love to hear more so please, please, please comment and be honest! Be real! I can handle it!

Happy new year!
