Life Update!
I really need to work on my titles...honestly when I first started this blog I thought I would be a lot better at that.
So it's been awhile since my last post about what's been going on in my life I thought it was time for an update.
I believe my last post on life was when I didn't get accepted into Sheridan's Computer Animation program. I applied again for January 2017 and still haven't heard back from them so I'm still in the waiting process there.
However, I did apply to the Vancouver Film School again (I know this is getting very, very redundant but I had to) but this time I applied straight for their 3D Animation and Visual Effects course instead of the Foundation Visual...drawing one that I can't remember right now that I applied to the first time I tried for this school and... I got in! I know it doesn't mean much considering I applied before and everything that's happened between then but to me, this time I'm actually going! I don't know how yet but I'll get there because...
I got a job at Superstore! My third job I can't believe it! I just went to the orientation yesterday so I haven't got an official shift yet. So my plan is to work in the mornings there and evenings at the theatre. I want, NEED to keep both jobs to save at the most 20% for school, more if possible.
So all this happened in around a week or two. It was a very blessed week and I was on the edge with happiness!
So between the two jobs, church, photography and planing my Mom's 50th birthday party and still wanting to have a life of my own I'm gonna be pretty busy...correction. HELLA busy.
Fan Expo is coming to Toronto in September and I really wanna go even if I have to go by myself I don't care! I heard it's Stan Lee's last visit to Canada/Toronto so I gotta go see at least once! I also wanted to go to the EX because it would be a great opportunity for nice photos!
I also recently just got the whole series of Ranma 1/2 (book not anime though I do want that too) It's one of my favourite series that I love reading over and over again and this guy was selling them all for $15! It was like a $1 each! I'm just missing Vol.12 but that's okay! So I'm reading those on the bus and walking when I get the chance. The series is drop dead HILARIOUS!
I'm also addicted to two new games I got/discovered. One of my very first post was around Christmas and I did a post on what I got or one my favourite DS games (one of them) The game was called Style Savvy and I still love the game. There was a sequel release called Style Savvy:Trendsetters which I use to play all the time and recently they came out with Style Savvy: Fashion Forward! I was so excited and had to get it!
So between that and the IOS/ android game called Sailor Drop (it's like the Sailor moon version of candy crush) their what I play every now and then.
Speaking of my Mom...(I know I kinda passed her awhile ago) she's doing great. Still feels a little sharp pain here and there and swelling but over all she's okay. She recently went to the doctor though about, I believe, a lump in her throat, Thyroid. She was suppose to get it checked up every year but didn't last year and went to Jamaica in stead (geezzz this girl). Unfortunately the lump as grown so now were just waiting to see what the next step is.
Sorry to end on such a down note. I just realized this post went from super exciting and good news to slowly making it's way down the meter.
That's all I got abut life right now. I still need to do a post about Photography and I will soon! I have an engagement shoot to do this week so I think after that would be a good time.
