Happy New Year!
I started this post on my phone but had to finish on my computer cause my fingers are more used to Wade than Jarvis (the names I gave my computer and phone and now that I've said this out loud...it sounded wrong...ummmm should probably change the names...)
It is January first! Which means I start school in two days! Which also means I'M CURRENTLY IN VANCOUVER!
Yes. You've read right, I'M IN VANCOUVER, BC!
Gosh that feels so good to say!
I got in last night and was shown around as much as possible and it was awesome!
Where I'm staying is awesome,
The room is awesome,
The area is awesome,

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!
There was so much I wanted to say in my new years post that I'm just not feeling right now! I'm just TOO excited!
Today was my first real day in town so I did a little exploring to where orientation will be held and where my classes will be!

That's the 3D animation and Visual effects campus above! I thought I could go in, guess I didn't really think that through, I was just so excited! A guy did however come and open the door so I did get a better look inside! I cannot wait for Tuesday & Wednesday and everyday for the rest of the year!
A few interesting things did happen, I got stopped by I think a homeless man who keep saying I'm pretty and couldn't stop talking about Jim Morris and John F. Kennedy. Every time he got closer I backed up and then he got closer so I think I've learned my first lesson, don't make conversation with strangers that lack in hygiene and have too much luggage with them.
I found two theatres! So there goes any extra change and time I might have in the future.
Two malls! One that reminds of Pacific Mall back at home and one that I cannot afford, but at least they have a Disney store inside!
There is one thing that baffled me though...I seriously undressed this outing. My phone told me it was 1 feeling more like 2 so I thought it would be considerately warmer than usual with no wind. OH THERE WAS WIND! AND IT WAS FREEZING!

BUT!
Why did I see people in shorts, high heels with no stockings, leggings, or coverings. Unzipped jackets and in sweaters! I felt colder just watching those people!
Gosh I'm just so glad to be here! Been through too much, which those who have read my other blog posts knows about it, and my family has sacrificed so much that I'm not doing this for me anymore, I'm doing this for them! They deserve the best and I'm gonna give it to them!
Still adjusting to this time zone though...three hours behind Toronto...It was funny cause while I was getting all these Happy New Year texts and messages I was here like "it's only after 9pm"
Tomorrow is my final day to chill so I thinking of walking to the campus again, playing some Sims 4 (duh!) and then seeing La La Land! Well...hopefully, the showing I wanted today was sold out.
