Award Season!

It's award season! Well actually it's the end of the award season when I post this. It was around the beginning of it from my last post. I wish I could watch all the awards shows and actually be there! The ones I got to see this year is the usual, The Golden Globes and the Academy Awards. There were so good this year

The Golden Globes was fantastic! Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were SO funny! I loved them and as said  at the Oscars, I wish they could host every award show.

The OSCARS were so good! I took a big step because it was on a Sunday night and I was suppose to be at church but I really wanted to see it so...I did.

My favourites to win were Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway for Les Miserables not only because they were amazing in their roles (and I give Anne Hathaway so much respect for cutting off her hair for the film ) but they are also amazing people. their attitudes and personalities is so likeable, I just love them.

SKYFALL! I just got that movie and I'm so mad I didn't get it on Blu-Ray now (hitting myself with a frying pan). But I love it! So much! By far one of THE best Bond films ever! They're all good and I loved them all. The music was so amazing too. Adele's Skyfall fit so well, the music, the lyrics, the voice everything fit so well.
I know this is bad but I have not seen Lincoln but from Daniel Day-Lewis previous performances, Steven Spielberg's direction, it's based on a famous person and the trailer and small clips I've seen, I know the movie was amazing! I really wanna see it and I'm going too and I also hope that wins!
NOT TO FORGET MY SELECTION HERE: ANIMATION
Paranorm and Frankenweenie are very creative films and wonderfully done but on a personal note, there were not my cup of tea so I am hoping for Brave and Wreck-it-Ralph. I already have Brave and really enjoyed it! The animation in the movie as always was stunning, Merdia's hair?! Oh boy! How they animated that AMAZES me! Wreck-it-Ralph is very different, taking all the games from our childhoods and putting them into a movie is a great idea! Kudos to Disney!
BUT! There was a big win of the night that I was really happy about: Disney's short - Paperman! I don't know if you guys have seen it but it was so cute and so well done. Although it looks 2D like snow White or Princess and the Frog, it's actually 3D! I love the music, the story, the poses, EVERYTHING about it was so amazing and so happy it got the award! If you haven't seen it I have uploaded it below. Please watch and enjoy you won't be sorry!

I know what some of you are probably saying...what about Argo or Sliver Linings Playbook?! I didn't see Argo but I would like too. Personally it is not my favour to win but I still hope it does great (which in the end...it did. Beat out most of my favourites). And Sliver Linings Playbook, I really wanna see that! I love Jennifer Lawrence! Amazing actor and she seems so funny and like such a loveable person as Emma Stone (who is so funny, I love her!) So many good movies that I'm missing like Life of Pi, I am so grateful to my night-school English teacher who let me read that book thank you >.<

Well seeing as how the show has gone and we know the winners already. Anne Hathway won Best supporting actress, Brave won Best Animated Feature, Paperman won Best Animated Short, Adele won for Best Original song for Skyfall and Lincoln got many awards as well along with Django Unchained, Life of Pi and so and so forth

There is so much more I want to say and you would I think I could because I'm blogging but I can't. It was just so good and recommend anyone who loves movies, who wants to go into that career or who just needs something to watch on a sunday one night, watch it! It's funny and so entertaining.

I know I promised a blog or two a week on my Wake-up list of 2013 (last post) and haven't been doing well on that. I will try harder and make it up! Be Blessed guys!

Jolly out!
